Harry Lee “Bug” Beverley, Jr., 41, of Homerville passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta after an extended illness. He was born in Homerville to Harry Lee Beverely, Sr. and the late Laura Bell Corbitt Beverley and lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Clinch County High School and was a Beekeeper. Bug attended New Vision Church of God and loved to hunt.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Bell Corbitt Beverley; paternal grandparents, James Beverley, Sr. and Sara Jane Howling Beverley; maternal grandparents, Randall Corbitt and Lucille Lee Corbitt.

Survivors include his father, Harry Lee Beverley, Sr. of Homerville; one sister and brother-in-law, Tracy Lynn and Alan Mercer of Waycross; one niece, Jada Mercer; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at 2 pm at Shiloh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
