Harry earned his bachelor's degree from Fordham University and went on to receive an MBA from Pace University. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a distinguished career in business. Over the years, he held numerous executive positions at IBM and Deloitte, where his leadership and insight left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike.
Before embarking on his corporate journey, Harry served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, stationed in Monmouth, New Jersey. His time in the military reflected his sense of duty and discipline-qualities that would define much of his personal and professional life.

Above all else, Harry was a devoted family man. He shared 66 loving years of marriage with his wife Virginia. Together they built a strong family that includes their sons Mark DeMaio and Andrew DeMaio; daughters-in-law Cynthia DeMaio (Weeks) and Lorraine DeMaio (Bole); and granddaughters Sarah Cox and Taylor Cumberledge.
