Harry Lee Dunscomb was born on September 30, 1946, in Salem, Kentucky to the late Booker T. and Mary E. Dunscomb.
Harry was a member of First Baptist Church North Indianapolis.
He attended Indianapolis Public School and graduated from Shortridge High School. Harry continued his education at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Harry devoted his entire career as an employee with Allison's Division of General Motors.
Harry served in the United States Army and abroad in the Vietnam War.
Harry enjoyed spending time with family and friends which was a virtue that he cherished most of all. He has a contagious smile filled with laughter and he was a jewel to all that knew and loved him. He will be missed and remembered.
Harry departed this life on earth on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana.
Harry leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Chrysanthia Maxine Dunscomb; sons, Harry Lee Dunscomb, Jr. and Shantel Marsden (Shaun); stepdaughter, Yolonda Stockton; sisters, Barbara Ford, Bernice E. Sanders, and Naomi Loeb (Everett); brother, Daryl L. Dunscomb; brother-in-law, Kevin D. Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.

Disbelief and heartbroken.... You will always and forever have a place in my heart. We taught each other a lot of things in life. Words cannot express the way I feel right now. I was blessed to have 2 fathers, and one being you. Until we meet again .... I love you dad

Maxine and Harry Jr. - we are so sorry for your loss. Harry was a great neighbor and a great guy. He always had a smile on his face when we would see him. We enjoyed talking with him when he would work in the yard. We will miss him.
