Harry W. Eichelberger, "Bud," age 86, of Stoverstown, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on November 14, 2025. He was the loving husband of Deborah A. (Mitzel) Eichelberger; together they shared 44 years of marriage.
Harry was born in York, PA on December 11, 1938 and was the son of the late Harry C. and Dorothy B. (Tampsett) Eichelberger. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg. Harry owned and operated Eichelberger Auto Salvage in Stoverstown for many years and enjoyed crabbing, car racing, dirt track racing, restoring antique cars, and raising deer and wild turkey. Harry was also an avid hunter.
In addition to his loving wife Deborah, Harry is survived by his children Veronica Lynn Carter and husband Ronald, Harry W. Eichelberger, Jr., Sandy Kay Owens and husband Clark, and Wendy Culp and husband Ted; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Donald Eichelberger and wife Janet and Marlin Eichelberger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Able; and his brother Paul Eichelberger.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Harry's life will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at St. Paul's Union Cemetery in Stoverstown with military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM and on Thursday from 9:00AM – 10:00AM both at the funeral home.
