Patricia M. Wainwright

Patricia M. (Goodfellow) Wainwright, age 88, of Hanover, formerly of York New Salem, passed away at Columbia Cottage in Hanover on November 11, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late John R. Wainwright who passed away on September 21, 2022; together they shared 53 years of marriage.
Patricia was born in Hanover, PA on September 12, 1937 and was the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Yingling) Goodfellow. She graduated from Eichelberger High School in Hanover and worked as an operating room technician for many years at York Hospital until her retirement. Patricia also enjoyed taking trips with her husband to Williamsburg, VA and spending time with the Cassel Family. She loved being a mother and grandmother, and cherished the time she spent with her family.
Patricia is survived by her sons Alan Wolfgang and wife JoAnne and John Wainwright, II and wife Danielle; her grandchildren Colin Wolfgang, Karli Wolfgang, and Taryn Wainwright; and her great-granddaughter Cora Wolfgang. She is also survived by her loving and dedicated caregiver, Deb Ball. Patricia was preceded in death by her children Scott Wainwright and Sandy Wolfgang; and her sister Suzanne Cramer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patricia's Graveside Service on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore St., Hanover, PA 17331.
