Harry Thomas Shore, IV, 48, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. Harry was born in Savannah to Carey and Eileen Shore on January 18, 1976. Although Harry was a native of Savannah and a graduate of Savannah Country Day School, he would tell you he was from Sandfly. He was an outstanding athlete and lettered in Football, Baseball and Track. Following high school, Harry attended the University of Georgia, where he earned a business degree. While in Athens, he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity, where he made many lasting friendships. After college, he joined a commercial real estate firm in Augusta, Georgia, before returning to Savannah and establishing Shore Blanton Construction with Tommy Blanton in 2004.
Harry loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing or hunting. When he wasn't working, you would likely find Harry on the water searching for fish or crabs. Many friends and family enjoyed crab boils on the dock with Harry and Carey. His favorite pastime was carefully watching his beloved Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Harry also loved animals; he most recently resided with Rosie, Maggie Mae, and Dixie. Companions to him as he was to them. Harry had a vibrant personality. He enjoyed being around his friends and family, and everyone loved being around him. He was great at telling stories regardless of how often you had heard them. He was blessed to live next door to his father for the past fifteen years in their family homes on Harrock Hall Drive.
Harry is preceded in death by his son, Harry Thomas Shore, V; mother, Eileen Riley Shore; and stepmother, Virginia (Ginger) Brown Shore.
He is survived by his daughter, Anne Ralston Shore, and her mother, Landon Lattimore Shore; father, Carey Branch Shore; sister, Hayden Shore Johns (Ed), and their children, Edwin (Win) C. Johns, III and Eileen Riley Johns.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Greenwich Cemetery. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the Savannah Golf Club.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you consider a donation in Harry's memory be made to the Humane Society of Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

We met Harry in 2017 when we start looking at houses and properties at the Landings. Shore and Blanton finally built our house in Moonriver. We couldn´t ask for a better builder. Harry became a very good friend of ours. We are missing him dearly. RIP
