Harry James Sperry, Born January 12, 1943, Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Harry was born in Dover New Jersey to his parents; Harry and Doris Sparry. He was first married to Margaret Henderson with whom he had 5 children with. After a divorce with Margaret, he had another child. He then moved for a short period to Florida. And then to Detroit lakes, Minnesota, where he married Jean Moore – to whom he remained happily married until his death.
Harry worked hard all throughout his life. He loved all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs.
Harry is preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers, one sister, one niece, and an infant daughter: Brenda.
He is survived by his wife, Jean. Children: Nancy Thomas (Rick) of Detroit Lakes, Harry Sperry Sr. (Robin Colsen) of Detroit Lakes, Linda Schreiber of Fergus Falls, David Sperry of Detroit Lakes, and Kim Stewart of Frazee. Grandchildren; Troy Sperry, Steven Barnes, Ricky Thomas, Harry Sperry Jr., Timothy Boit/Sperry, Michael Sperry, David Schreiber, Ashley Baker, Jimi Newlan Josh Newlan, Erica Heinen, and Tyler Heinen. And sixteen great-grandchildren.
