Harry Allen Turnier, 86 of Delaware County passed away Monday January 5, 2026 at the Jefferson Einstein-Montgomery Hospital in Norristown. He was born May 9, 1939 in Philadelphia to the late Walter & Ana (Crouse) Turnier.
Growing up, Harry enjoyed spending time with his family and learning new skills such as ballroom dancing. Harry graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1958 and went on to serve a full term in the U.S. NAVY on the USS Independence Aircraft Carrier. Following his separation from the military, Harry joined the Local 1069 U.A.W.
During his time in the Union, he received many awards, merits, and recognition through his employer of 34 years, Boeing. While employed at Boeing, Harry acted as a sheet metal worker that helped build countless planes, helicopters, and transit cars. Harry also took part in the creation of numerous blueprints used by Boeing engineers. Harry retired from his loyal position at Boeing in 1998.
In addition to his many years of hard work and service, Harry took care of several people in his life. He was a giving soul that loved to make others happy. If you knew Harry personally, then you know his true passion in life was creating a better life for others - which ultimately became just another achievement on his never ending list of accomplishments.
