Harvey Allen Ramthun JR, 82, of town of Kewaskum, passed away on April 5, 2025, at home peacefully surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 18, 1942, in Fond du Lac, WI, the son of the late Harvey and Jean Ramthun nee Kraft, and on September 11, 1965, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Helen Schiek.
Harvey and Kathie met at Long Lake Resort. He came to the lake with his blue truck and matching blue boat, Emmy Flo, named after his two grandmas. Harvey would drive the boat for people to ski behind. He and Kathie were part of the Kettle Moraine Ski Squad. They would do ski shows in front of the resort with family and friends. Harvey still has the same boat where all his children and grandchildren have learned to ski, tube and fish. Harvey had his favorite fishing spots on Big St Germain Lake where the family enjoyed over 30 years of camping together every July.
Harvey was a master plumber by trade and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his large family at home, in the woods or on the water. Harvey always found a way for his family to be together. From putting up a pool in the backyard to building a deck for the pool, building a playhouse and treehouse, building metal stuff in the shop, coaching softball and basketball teams, family camping trips, deer hunting trips with the boys, family ice fishing encampments, to attending as many grandchildren’s sports games as he could. Harvey was surrounded by a loving family that he prays for all the time.
