Harvey S. Brubacher, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Selinsgrove to the late Eli G. and Priscilla (Stauffer) Brubacher and was married to the late Alice. W. (Auker) Brubacher for 56 years.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church. His past occupations included farming, agricultural construction, auto mechanic, salesman at Rigidly Rafters and a delivery truck driver. His hobbies included gardening and woodworking.
Harvey is survived by four children, Vera Brubacher of East Earl, Mary, wife of Dale Weaver of Watkins Glen, NY, Gary Brubacher of Ephrata, John, husband of Rose Ann (Zimmerman) Brubacher of East Earl; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Sueie, wife of Edward Martin, Alice, wife of Philip Weaver; three brothers, Willis, husband of Betty Brubacher, Henry, husband of Joyce Brubacher and Irvin, husband of Ruby Brubacher.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Brubacher and Lena Blessing; three brothers, Eli Brubacher, Jacob Brubacher and Earl Brubacher.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church, 140 Pleasant Valley Rd., Ephrata. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the church, from 9 to 10 am, followed by his funeral service at 10 am. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bald Eagle Boys Camp or Christian Aid Ministries.
