Harvey Alonzo Tate passed away from this life on Monday, September 18, 2023, at age 81. Harvey was born June 8, 1942, in Annetta, Texas to Ewing Leslie Tate and Ruby Dell (Moore) Tate. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, Harvey remained a hard worker and always had a project going; throughout his life he built a career in the construction industry. Into retirement, he loved trading stocks, sitting outside with his coffee, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Harvey will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, and grandfather.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Les and Ruby Tate; sister, Ruth Van Deaver; and brother, Richard Tate.

Harvey is survived by his beloved wife, Anita (Clendennen) Tate of Weatherford, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey (Paula) Tate of Granbury; son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Sandie) Tate of Weatherford; son, Andrew Conlee of Weatherford; multiple stepchildren; grandchildren, Ryan Tate, Emily Tate, and Bandi Conlee; great-grandson, Rowan Hargrave; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda (Dale) Cox of Jarrell, Texas; and several cousins and nephews.

A time of visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.

The funeral ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas.
