Haskell Lee Murray

Haskell Lee Murray, age 80, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Hillcrest Healthcare in Ashland City, Tennessee. Haskell was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, on January 21, 1943, to the late Erma and Vennie (Crunk) Murray. He served in the United States Navy and was a retired tire maker at Pirelli Tire Co. For many years he enjoyed being able to spend extra time with his grandchildren while babysitting them. He is preceded in death by his parents; Erma and Vennie Murray; beloved wife, Mary (Richardson) Murray; brother, Douglas Murray and sister Faye Davis. He is survived by his daughters, Vickie (Mike) Highers, Michelle (Franklin) Wilkinson and Rachel Schmidt; brother, Billy Murray; grandchildren, Krista (Michael) Wilson, Alyson Krantz, Trestan Schmidt and Amelia Grace Wilkinson; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Wyatt, Caffrey, Emerly Kate, Austin and Brady; beloved dog Dooley and several nieces/nephews and friends. Funeral service for Haskell will be Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2pm in the Chapel with Brother Cal Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2023 from 11am until service hour of 2pm.
