Our beloved mother and neenaw, Hattie (Wisnowski) Ogrodowicz, age 91, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024 with her family by her side.
Hattie was born November 14, 1932 to Ignacious and Martha (Kubeczka) Wisnowski in Chappell Hill, Texas. Hattie married Clement Ogrodowicz on June 6, 1953 in Chappell Hill, Texas by Father John Weslock.
Hattie was the heart of our home and family. She cherished her family dearly. To know her was to love her. She was known as "Neenaw" by family and friends. She led by example and lived by faith. She was known for her great cooking and baking, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. It was her passion to garden and she had a knack for making anything grow.
Hattie is preceded in death by husband; parents; son Norbert Ogrodowicz; siblings Louise Ogrodowicz, Clarence Wisnowski and numerous nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish her memory are children Larry (Suzzanne) Ogrodowicz, Diane Dasinger, Carolyn (Jason) Pruitt; grandchildren Ryan (Audra) Ogrodowicz; Evan (Leslie) Ogrodowicz, Lacy Dasinger, Cody (Adrianne) Daniels, Garrett (Cassandra) Ogrodowicz, Kady (Ryan) Golightly, Kurt (Brittany) Ogrodowicz; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters Lilian Cooper and Angeline Januszewski.
Visitation will be Monday, May 6th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with family present. Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Ogrodowicz, Evan Ogrodowicz, Garrett Ogrodowicz, Kurt Ogrodowicz, Cody Daniels, and Ryan Golightly.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Southern Knight Senior Living Facility and Sunset Hospice Care for all their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
