Hazalle Gaborik Obituary
Born in Dearborn to the late Sabia Ashker Said and Abdel Husin Said, Jean graduated from Fordson High School and volunteered at the Detroit Society for the Blind for many years. She is survived by her sister Donna Said, niece Madelyn Said, and her son Rob (Marites) Bullock and grandchildren Matthew (Shelbiann) Bullock, Malia Bullock, Aaron Bulllock, and Jonah Bullock. Jean was preceded in death by her husband John A. Gaborik, sister Linda Said and stepfather Tony Copty.
Jean enjoyed her church family at Faith Baptist Church, (formerly of Warren), being part of several women's ministries, as well as having fun with the Super Seniors from church on their activities.
A memorial service for Jean will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, 4pm at Faith Baptist Church, 34950 Little Mack Ave in Clinton Twp, MI 48035, followed by a dinner at the church for family and friends in attendance.
