Hazel L. Cox

Hazel L. Cox, 89, of Elgin Rd, Corry, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Corry Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 6, 1936, in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late William and Doris (Beckwith) Loveland.
Hazel was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1954. Hazel then married and stayed home to raise her family. She later drove a school bus for a few years and sang in the Al Cox and the Tunesters Band. Hazel was also co-owner of the Al Cox Family Auction Company in Elgin for many years, retiring in 2000.
She and Alan loved camping their way through the Western US. She loved puzzles but mostly spending time with her family.
In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Al Cox; three sisters, Naomi Eastman, Beatrice Coulter and Judith Mitchell; two brothers, William and Robert Loveland and great-grandson, Alan Craker.
Hazel is survived by two daughters, Dawn (Eric) McCray and Polly (Terry) Jonhson; two sons, Mark (Theresa) Cox and Jeff Cox all of Corry, PA; 10 grandchildren, Kelly, Stephanie, Sarah, Jake, Brianna, Joe, Nick, Luke, Elaine and Emily; 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately by her family.
