Hazel Pridgen Obituary
The family will greet friends on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 1 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829. A Celebration of Life service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lance Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. Mark Baker, Eric Mathews, Ryan Mathews, Adam Pridgen, James Taylor, and Ethan Chapman will be pallbearers.
Hazel was born in Augusta, Georgia, and retired from Sibley Mill after thirty-plus years of service. She loved finding treasures at yard sales and rescuing animals to ease their pain and provide them with comfort, security, and love. Hazel especially loved big family get-togethers.
Left to cherish Hazel's memory are her brother and his wife, Gene and Kathy Pridgen, of Clarks Hill, SC, and many nieces and nephews.
