Heather Chalmers Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Jan. 10, 2023.
Heather Sue Chalmers, 67, of New Hope, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on Friday, January 6, in the presence of her loving husband of forty-three years, Philip Jeffrey Warden.
Daughter of the late James and Anna (Cadwell) Chalmers, Heather was the dear sister of Sheila Porter, Carol Lyons, and the late Wayne Chalmers. Heather also had an incredibly special relationship with her eleven nieces and nephews, who adored her, and with her five grandnieces and nephews.
An accomplished mixed-media artist, and a gifted photographer of nature and wildlife, Heather had a boundless passion for the welfare of animals. She expressed that love through her parenting of her cherished cats, and by her feeding and caring for the generations of deer, racoons, foxes, and birds who had the good fortune to wander close to her home. Heather also volunteered as a photographer for the Bucks County SPCA, and she took special pride in the photographic work she did for Tabby's Place.
Heather's artistry extended to her career as a dental lab technician, where her precision and eye for detail made her a master of her craft.
A person with her own distinctive style and grace, Heather possessed a je ne sais quoi and a unique way of looking at the world. She was truly, and wonderfully, one of a kind.
Heather's infectious laugh could fill the room with joy. The light in her eyes reflected the caring nature of her soul, and she made everyone feel important and loved through her time, her praise, her encouragement, her guidance, her thoughtful personal notes, and her protective nature. In the hearts of the people who knew Heather, she leaves the gifts of love, kindness, and generosity. She will be forever remembered and missed.
Currently, services are private. A celebration of Heather's life will be held this spring. In the meantime, contributions in her memory may be made to Tabby's Place at https://www.tabbysplace.org/donate
Life Celebration Services are entrusted to Swartz Givnish of Newtown, 215-968-3891.

So very sorry to hear this sad news Jeff and family. Having connected on Facebook a long time ago I had the rare opportunity to see Heather at a Craftshow in Bucks County and that was a long time gone since Solebury, and before moving to Florida. It was very nice that she liked my work and bought the big blue platter with the crack. Well I am truly deeply sorry for your loss Jeff.

Well little friend, somehow through the grace of God we finally hooked up, living less than a mile away from each other in New Hope. For decades you were living just around the corner. It's amazing how we finally magnetically connected, and able through the covid lock down,
could condensed our entire lives into just 3 years with texting, video and short masked visits.
You have always been my hero through your tremendous struggles.
As a nurse, many in your shoes were not nearly as fearless when transitioning with great thanks for a wonderful life. Thank you, for those years of lock down with incredible friendship, laughter, tears, love and sanity.
God bless Heather's family who are mouring her loss.
