Heather Marie Hoffman, age 48, of Prescott, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, July 25, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on September 27, 1976, at March Air Force Base in California, Heather was the beloved daughter of David Hoffman and Roxane Obermueller-Carroll.
Though Heather was non-verbal from birth and required full-time care, she possessed a vibrant and unforgettable spirit that radiated kindness, joy, and love to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her personality shone brightly, and she communicated in her own beautiful, expressive way through her eyes, gestures, and unmistakable warmth. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, going for walks, spending time with family and friends, and being surrounded by love.
Heather will be deeply missed by her mother, Roxane Obermueller-Carroll; her siblings: Jason Hoffman, Abby (Jim Snidarich) Hoffman, Lisa (Matt) Waller, and Laura (Jake) Peterson; and her niece, Brittany Hoffman. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and caregivers who were touched by her sweet and loving nature.
She was welcomed into eternal rest by her father, David Hoffman; her dad, Robert “Butch” Carroll; her grandparents: Darel and Doris Hoffman and James and June Obermueller; and her dear aunt, Sue Johnson.
A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at The Old Ptacek’s Event Center, located at 1449 Orrin Rd., Prescott, WI 54021.
Heather’s life was a reminder that love needs no words. Her quiet strength, her gentle soul, and the joy she brought to others will be remembered always.
A special thank you to the REM Namekagon House and its dedicated staff for the loving care and support they provided to Heather throughout the years. Your compassion and commitment made a meaningful difference in her life and in the lives of all who loved her.
