Heather Ann O'Neill

HEATHER ANN O’NEILL age 55 of Auburn Township, formerly of Garfield Heights, passed away on September 17, 2025. Beloved wife of Kevin O’Neill; loving mother of Mackenzie and Devin O’Neill; dearest daughter of Gloria Mayer (nee Dettman) and Al Mayer; dear sister of Todd (Michelle) Kirkwood and J. Kirkwood. Heather met her husband of 34 years while working as a nanny in 1990. Heather was known for her strong will, unwavering determination and love for her family and friends. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her always being there to help friends in need even though she herself had been battling health issues of her own for the last 6 years. She loved get togethers, socializing, great food, warm weather vacations, gardening, outdoor concerts by Tom Petty tribute bands and walking in the park with her friends and pets. Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Rd, Bainbridge Twp., OH 44023 on Thursday, October 2 from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve in memory of Heather.
