Thomas S. Kerestesy

THOMAS S. KERESTESY, age 76, of Euclid, OH, passed away on September 7, 2025. Beloved husband of 48 years to Sally Kerestesy (nee Wertman); dearest father of Michelle Parsons (Ron) and Daniel Kerestesy (Robin); loving grandfather of Augusto, Paloma, Shaena, and Bobby and great-grandfather of Theo; dear brother of Michael Kerestesy (Georgette, deceased) and the late Ann Kopacz (John); uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Tom graduated from Brush High School in 1967 and then attended Tri-C where he earned his associates degree. He was an active and reserve member of the National Guard. Tom worked in the engineering department for Caterpillar and Daewoo and after retirement worked for Meyer Products in Cleveland. He loved spending time with his family including his beagle, Charlie, especially around the holidays. Tom loved the outdoors and spending time in the Metroparks, gardening, working on his Bonsai trees, wood carving and drawing.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Tom to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072, Cleveland APL, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113, or any other pet rescue organization.

Funeral Service Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD). Interment All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends AT THE FUNERAL HOME FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 FROM 4 TO 7 P.M.
