Hector Arias, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 3, 2025, just days of his 74th birthday. Born on February 18, 1951, in Sonora, Mexico, Hector was known for his warmth and his infectious sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.
For more than two decades, Hector dedicated himself to his career at Sierra Aluminum, where he was respected not just for his work ethic but also for his kindness and willingness to help others. His colleagues often shared smiles and laughter, each reflecting the joy he took in his daily tasks.
Hectors family meant the world to him; he cherished every moment spent with them. Fridays were especially dear to his heart, as they signified time for gathering with loved ones over meals and creating lasting memories. He found immense pride in his role as a father and grandfather, often reminiscing about his proudest accomplishment of learning how to fish, which allowed him to spend precious moments on the water with his sons, Hector Jose and Gorge.
Hector had a passion for breeding parakeets, a delightful hobby he enjoyed for over 60 years. This dedication to nurturing and caring for these beautiful birds echoed his gentle naturea reflection of his love for bringing life and joy into the world around him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Beatriz, and their sons, Hector Jose and Gorge. Hector was also the proud grandfather to Anthony, Celeste, Jorgie, Hector, and Alexander, all of whom carry forward his spirit of kindness and laughter.
As we remember Hector Arias, we hold onto the legacy of his welcoming heart, evident through every family gathering and shared laughter. His wisdom, humor, and love will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who knew him.
