Heidi Hamel

Heidi, age 34, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was a resident of Hammond, LA. Heidi was a hard worker and currently worked as a Registered Nurse at North Oaks Hospital. Her true passion was in fitness, and she enjoyed teaching several fitness classes at Spoga in her free time. Heidi was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she attended regularly with her family. She was truly one to light up a room and was known to be full of life. Heidi made friends with everyone and was genuinely a kind person. She adored her children and was most happy spending time with them. Heidi was a beautiful woman with an even more beautiful spirit. She left a huge impact on all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Heidi is survived by her daughter, Ryleigh Grace Davis; son, Reid Anthony Davis; parents, Lori and Don Hamel; brothers, Blake Aldwin Hamel (Kelly), Kyle Macon Hamel (Brittnie); nieces and nephews, Haley LeAye Hamel, Emily Grace Hamel, Chase Aldwin Hamel, Breighton William Hamel, Kambree Ann Hamel; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, JM and Lois Oswalt; and Al and Theo Hamel.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70401, on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Avery Dixon will officiate and interment will follow in Rosaryville Cemetery.
