Heidi Lemley passed away at the age of 53, on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 7, 1972, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, Heidi grew up to be kind and loving, touching the lives of everyone she met with her warm spirit.
Throughout her life, Heidi was known for her loving nature and her unwavering courage, traits that shone brightly even as she faced her illness with grace and resilience. She was so proud her sons, Ronnie Lemley (Valarie) and Joey Lemley, she loved them more than life itself.Heidi's father, Peter Dufek was her hero and her sisters and brother-in-law's, Pam and Larry Ferguson and Cindee and Rick Shifflet were her pillars of support. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and cat Oliver. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Tokach, and her grandparents, Peter, Olga Dufek, Walter, and Mary Leon.
Heidi's educational journey was marked not by degrees, but by the friendships she forged and the lives she touched. Her kindness and compassion extended into her professional life, where she held various positions over the years. Heidi's most cherished roles were as a waitress and an animal caretaker at Critter Country. She adored her customers at Gary's diner, many of whom she considered family, and reveled in the companionship and care of the animals entrusted to her. Heidi's employers Laurie and Rob at Critter Country became like a second family to her, offering support and friendship that she treasured deeply.

She loved all things pink and had a love affair with Coca-Cola that she could not absolutely go one day without.
