Helen Rosalie (Argue)

HURLBURT, Helen Rosalie (Argue) – of Burton, MI, age 87, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Michigan; Pastor Greg Rowan officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at 12 noon on Saturday at the funeral home.

Helen was born in Flint, Michigan on January 26, 1938, daughter of the late Harry and Flossie (Seeley) Argue. She married Leslie "Joe" Hurlburt, Jr. on August 31, 1957, in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2019. Helen loved to crochet, do word searches and puzzles. She made sure all her kids and grandkids had a lifetime supply of crocheted potholders, dresses for her granddaughters, and hats for her great grandchildren. She gave her family a countless amount of beautiful memories to be cherished forever. Helen was a devoted wife and mother.

Helen is survived by her children: Deborah (Keith) Gibson, Dawn Hurlburt, Denise Jones, Leslie Gibson, Cynthia McCallum, Joseph (Brenda) Hurlburt, Helen (Steve) Harris, and Jessica (Ted) Abraham; 26 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; her loving husband of 61 years, Leslie "Joe" Hulburt, Jr.; her brothers and sister; grandchildren: Celeste Hope and Jacob Berrier; and sons-in-law: Steve Wiederhold, Dave Gibson, and David Jones. The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Shull for his excellent care for Helen, the nurses and staff at Henry Ford Genesys for the 4th Floor North Loop, and the staff at The Oaks of Woodfield in Grand Blanc.
