Joseph Matthew "Joe" Witek

WITEK, Joseph Matthew – of Grand Blanc, Michigan, age 43, passed away on September 17, 2025. Cremation has taken place, and a Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan, 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. The family will receive visitors Monday, September 29, 2025, from 4-7PM, and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to David's Faith & Hope for Life Foundation, in Joseph's memory.

Joe was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 29, 1981, the son of Paul and Sandra (Gabridge) Witek. He married the love of his life, Natalee Stachelek, on October 25, 2008, in Davison, Michigan. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, later completing both a master's degree in engineering management and an MBA from Lawrence Technological University. Always eager to learn, Joe continuously pursued continuing education opportunities to expand his knowledge. He dedicated his career to engineering, working for several companies including all of the Big Three automakers, and found great fulfillment in his current role at Detroit Arsenal. A gifted craftsman, Joe enjoyed woodworking, especially building furniture. An avid sports fan, Joe also enjoyed fishing, spending time on the water, and camping with his family. Above all, he cherished his family and the time they spent together, as well as the companionship of his beloved dogs.

Joe is survived by his wife, Natalee; children: Claire and Jack Witek; parents, Paul and Sandra Witek; brother, Jim Witek; parents-in-law, Rick and Linda Stachelek; sisters-in-law, Renee (Troy) Spaman and Leslie Stachelek; nieces, Ava and Mila; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Margaret Witek and Ted and Lottie Gabridge.
