Helen was born on August 19, 1945, in Macon, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael Bernard Armstrong (2022); sons, Andrew and Alex Cooper.
Helen had a real zest for life. Her quick wit and ability to liven any gathering will leave a void in the lives of all who all knew her.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Casie Payne (Tony) of High Point, grandchildren, J. Patrick Biggs, James Biggs, and Abigail Biggs.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service at 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point. The family will receive friends following the service.
