Helen Bryant Obituary
She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, living a life firmly anchored in her Christian faith and strong family values. Her gentle spirit and steady presence reflected a grace shaped by her belief in God, and she consistently offered support, encouragement, and love to those around her.
Her faith was central to who she was. She worked to live out her beliefs with determination, honesty, and loyalty. The lessons she learned through life and faith gave her a strength that guided her and influenced everyone she met. Her love for God and her family could be seen in the way she served, supported, and cared for those placed in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband James A. "Jimmy" Bryant, her daughter, Sherry Gover, her father and mother, Ernest and Ethel Morrow, her three sisters, Norma Jean Buford, Elaine Gibson, June Davis, and her brother, Marvin Morrow.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Bruce (and Jennifer) Gover, Brad (and Katie) Gover, three great grandchildren, Luke Gover, Kaitlynn (and Karsten) Raney, and Jasmine Gover, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she deeply loved and cherished. She leaves behind a legacy of love and gratitude, and the faith-filled values she lived by will continue to shape the family she cherished.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Somerset Undertaking with Bro. Sam Crawford and Danny Garland (nephew) officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in McCreary County, Kentucky with Bro. Brad Gover (grandson) officiating. The family would like to thank Sharon Reynolds and the wonderful staff at the Neighborhood and Hospice of Lake Cumberland for all their care.
