Pat grew up in Linden, Ala., and attended Linden High School. After high school, she moved to Tuscaloosa. She worked as a seamstress and then as a school bus driver for special needs children until she retired in 2006, when she began to help care for her beloved Jacob. She loved to travel, dance, listen to Elvis, country music, attending concerts with her sisters and she loved Alabama football. She had a love and talent for growing flowers and plants and had a green thumb with growing anything. One of the highlights of her social life was being chosen as an extra in the movie, Hooper, filmed here in Tuscaloosa at the old Northington Campus, starring Burt Reynolds and Jan Michael Vincent.
Special thanks to her caregiver, Courtney Madison-Waller.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Hospice of West Alabama.
