It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Helen Davidian Fullem who died March14, 2025 at the age of 82 following a lengthy illness.
Helen grew up in Paramus, New Jersey and graduated from Paramus High School in 1961, where she excelled academically. She later graduated from The William Paterson College of New Jersey earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Political Science.
Helen began her career in the travel industry at The Leading Hotels of the World as assistant to the President and CEO. She then enjoyed four years as the North American sales representative for Hotel Le Bristol, Paris before founding her own deluxe hotel sales and marketing company, Crown International Marketing, Inc., in 1986. Crown was considered to be one of the foremost sources in upscale travel until its closing in 2012.
In remembering Helen, we celebrate a life well lived and a woman who was generous with family and friends, loved to travel, and treasured her time spent on Cape Cod and her beloved New York Times, especially the Sunday crossword puzzle.
Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Brian Hodgdon; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Richard Tomaselli; and her niece and nephews, Lisa, Jeffrey and Peter Tomaselli and their families. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Davidian.
A memorial service to celebrate Helen's life will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations close to Helen's heart: Doctors Without Borders, PO Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5030 or The Humane Society of Bergen County, 221-223 Stuyvesant Ave., Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
