Helen was born November 6, 1920, in International Falls, Minnesota, and had lived most of her life in Melbourne, Florida. She enjoyed teaching kindergarten at the Methodist church for 28 years, making flower arrangements, decorating her home, and working in her yard.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Mathilda Valrath and Gust Vallas; brothers: Jerome Steffens, Robert Cafarillia, and a sister: Lavonne Alfred.
She is survived by her son: Max Fundom (Kathryn Aultman), and a brother: Vern Steffens.
