Danny L. Fundom, 74, of Massillon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on January 28, 2024.
He was born on July 26, 1949 to the late Leland and Bernice (Rader) Fundom of Kenton, OH.
He was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1967. Dan was a loyal employee of Crown Cork & Seal for 49 years retiring in 2016. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Dan was truly a kind and generous person. He never met a stranger and believed that a "Friend in need is a friend in deed". He enjoyed golfing, swimming, going on long walks with his wife, and was an avid OSU and Massillon Tiger Fan.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Susan (Keller) Fundom; daughter, Christine Herouvis; grandchildren, Dimitri Herouvis and Danielle Herouvis; brother, Douglas (Sandra) Fundom; son-in-law, Gust Herouvis; sister-in-law, Therese (Timothy) Arthur; brother-in law, Thomas H. Keller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 5pm-7pm at Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm with Fr Thomas Cebula, officiating.
A private burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Aultman Hospice for their care and support.
