Evangelist Howard was born on February 25, 1945, in Goodman, Mississippi. She was a long-time member of the House of Prayer in Lumberton, North Carolina under the leadership of Overseer LaJoan Johnson. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord and ministering to others.
Evangelist Howard was married to Curtis J. Howard; he preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories 11 Children, Curtis Howard Jr, Denton, Texas, Reco Howard, Lubbock Texas, Denise Howard, Victoria Howard, Theotis Howard, Marcus Howard, Joe Jones, Latoya Spaulding, Keturah Howard, Monica Howard all of Lumberton, North Carolina, and Corey Howard, Tucson, Arizona; sisters-in-law, Marion Donald, Annie Donald, Earnestine Donald, and Ruby Donald. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two grandchildren that she raised as her own Teresa Jones and Michael Douglas.
Evangelist Howard was also preceded in death by her grandson, Torry Green; sister-in-law, Lee Ann Donald; and close friends, Pastor Mattie Works, Juanita Allen, and Dorlean Morgan.
