Helen E. Miller

Helen Miller, 95, of Johnson City, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 11, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her steady presence, strong Catholic faith, and love of family.
Helen spent many years as a homemaker for her husband and four children. She went on to work at Grandway Flower Shop, where she created beautiful flower arrangements that brought joy to others. Upon retirement, she devoted her time to caring for her grandchildren, a role she cherished deeply. She was their biggest supporter, never missing a sporting event.
She received many compliments on her hair and youthful appearance, thanks to her weekly visits at Connie's Place. Known for her delicious spaghetti sauce and her caring nature, Helen was the heart of her home. She will be deeply missed.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Louis A. Miller Sr.; parents, Seth and Helen Hallett; and brother, Ronald Hallett. She is survived by her children, Karen (John) Spalik, Louis A. (Sandi) Miller, Michael Miller, and Nancy Miller; Grandchildren, Janelle (Jason) Farrell, Kara Spalik, Jacob (Kristen) Spalik, Patrick Miller, John (Caroline) Miller, Hailley Harvey, Abigail Miller, and Sarah Miller, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal, Monday November 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Helen's memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
