Helen C. Monteiro

MONTEIRO, Helen C. (Canniff), of Billerica, formerly of Waltham and Cambridge, passed peacefully on November 23, 2024, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Frederick "Fred" M. Monteiro. Loving mother of Donna M. Pizzo and her longtime companion Ralph Pagano of Billerica, and Fred J. Monteiro and his wife Mary of Winchester. Cherished grandmother of Michael and his wife Bailey, and Danielle. Great Grandmother to Geneva, Andrew, Kasidey, Dylan, and Brooke. Dear sister of the late Lorraine Francioso and husband Louis and the late Joan Monteiro and husband George. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, December 7th, in Saint John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave in North Cambridge from 9:30am-11am, followed by her funeral mass in church at 11am. Her Burial will conclude in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, Donations in Helen's memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
