Helen Mudri

Helen Mudri, 96, of Greenwood Township, passed away November 16, 2023.
She was born in Peck, January 20, 1927 the daughter of the late John and Rose (Blatt)Pedrotti. She graduated from Peck High School in 1944. Her marriage to Edward Mudri was December 27, 1947 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yale. They enjoyed 53 loving years together until his passing in 2001.
Helen worked at the Yale Woolen Mill, Gambles Hardware and Hamill Seatbelt Factory until their closing. She was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends with all her heart. She took pride in making her yard look beautiful, working in her flower beds and mowing her lawn up into her 90s. She was a very independent and strong-willed lady. Helen was an avid watcher of the Young and the Restless, The Bachelor, and Dancing with the Stars. She earned her law degree watching Judge Judy.
Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Mark Kettlewell; five grandchildren, Michael Coady, Diane (Rick) Bartley, Ashley (Joe) Meldrum, Samantha Urben and Haley (Joe Vinckier) Kettlewell; seven great-grandchildren, Erica (John McComb) Coady, Rachel (Alex) Brehmer, Alexandra (Jacob) Maxwell, Sara Bartley, Emory and Kason Meldrum and Ben Urben; two great great-grandchildren, Cecilia and Brody Demeniuk; five sisters, Thelma Ferguson, Marie Francis, Peggy (Walt) Bartsch, Florence (Russell) Lowell and Rosette Knox; and two sisters-in-law, Donna and Janet Pedrotti.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward; daughter, Susan Coady; her parents; four brothers, Lloyd, Larry, Harley and John Pedrotti and a sister, Jean Ferguson.
The family honors the memory of Helen and invites you to visit and share memories Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, with rosary devotion services at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Yale with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Fr. Tom Kuehnemund, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
