Helen Louise O'Connor

Helen Louise (Gallagher) O'Connor of Richboro passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 15, 2025. She was 96 years young.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Martin Michael O'Connor, her parents Daniel P. Gallagher and Mary (McLaughlin) Gallagher and sisters Mary T. Smith and Elizabeth Ruppert and lastly by her best friend of almost 80 years Patricia McCann.

Helen lived a life centered around Family, Faith and Friendship. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was happiest when her home was filled with laughter, conversation and the smell of a delicious meal cooking in the kitchen. She had a great laugh and way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for.

She loved music and was a member of the Bucks County Choral Society and St. Bede's Choir. She was artistic and loved to paint and decorate, but above all she found her greatest joy in her family, who will forever carry her love and example with them always.

Helen is survived by her children, Maryann O'Connor, Kathleen M. Burger (Rob), Martin M. O'Connor, Jr. (JoAnn), John C. O'Connor (Euphemia), Helen L. O'Connor, and Patricia K. O'Connor; her grandchildren, Kristin Crescenzo (Michael), and Robert L. Burger, III (Kelly) and her great-grandchildren, Helaina, Chase, Owen, and Patrick.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in celebration of Helen's life on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m., with Words of Remembrance at 11:20 a.m., followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
