Helen M. Rosso

Helen M. Rosso, 60, of St. Edward, NE, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 23, 2025, as a result of a motorcycle accident near Ceresco, NE.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2025, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE with Rev. Keith Brich officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE.

Helen Marie Rosso, daughter of Everett Dwight and Evelyn June (Dybdahl) Rosso, was born on January 22, 1965, at Grand Island, NE. Helen grew up in Grand Island with her family until the age of 11 when they moved to North Platte. Helen graduated high school and later attended Chadron State College where she majored in criminal justice.

Throughout her life Helen lived in various places throughout the area. Most recently she moved to St. Edward, NE after meeting Dan Gaunt. Together the couple enjoyed spending time together, especially going for rides on his motorcycle and playing golf. Helen also enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

At the time of her death, Helen was employed at the Boone County Health Center in Albion where she worked as a receptionist at the front desk. She was admired by both her coworkers and patients of the hospital for her friendly smile and willingness to always lend a helping hand.

Helen is survived by two sisters: Karen (Mike) Hall; Dorothy (Mike) Hiserote; nieces; a nephew; other relatives; her coworkers; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
