Helen A. Rynearson, a cherished member of her community and beloved matriarch, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Ringoes, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 23, 1928, in Somerville, NJ, Helen was raised in a close-knit family, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Hricus) Liskowacki. She was proud to be a graduate of Flemington High School, where she graduated in the Class of 1947.

Helen embarked on a career that reflected her vibrant spirit and dedication to service. After attending Wilfred Beauty Academy, she worked at a salon on Main Street in Flemington, and later joined the New Jersey Telephone Company, where she served for several years before working in the cafeteria at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, where she made lasting connections over her 29 years until her retirement in 1995. Helen retired to provide care for her ailing husband, John E. Rynearson Sr., whom she married in 1952.

Her Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her as a Life Communicant at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington. Helen was very organized and deeply committed to her community. Since 1953, she also volunteered at the firehouse and was an active member of the Amwell Valley Ladies Auxiliary, where she made significant contributions to local causes.

Helen's proudest accomplishments included raising her family with love and nurturing strong bonds with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, John E. Rynearson, Jr. and his wife Patricia; daughter Terri (Rynearson) Mitchell and her husband James; her five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends. Each of them bore witness to her unwavering love and support.

In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, John E. Rynearson, Sr. in 1999, as well as her brothers, John and Michael Liskowacki.

The legacy Helen leaves behind is characterized by her nurturing spirit, strong faith, and devoted family ties. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her remarkable life. A viewing will be held on January 31, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her memory on February 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by a graveside service at Union Cemetery on Boss Road in Ringoes NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's name may be made to St. Magdalen de Pazzi Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ 08822 or to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amwell Valley Fire Company, PO Box 76, Ringoes, NJ 08551.
