Charles Thomas Ruggerio, a devoted family man and respected IT Administrator, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, in Raritan Township, New Jersey. He was born on May 19, 1951, in Newark, New Jersey, and was a proud graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, where he graduated with the Class of 1969.

For many years, Charles dedicated himself to his career as an IT Administrator with the former Hunterdon Radiological Associates in Flemington, New Jersey. His professional life was marked by his commitment to excellence and his supportive nature towards his colleagues.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Charles was deeply passionate about music. He began playing the bass guitar at the tender age of 12 and went on to join several local bands, including the "Liberty Blues Band," "Can't Stop Now," and "Blues River." He was very proud to record with Bob Angell's "Blues Outlet' in 1998 on "Everbody's Fishin" EP and in 2024 on "Brand New Blues".   Over the years, he amassed a collection of multiple bass guitars, reflecting his love for music and his dedication to honing his craft.

Charles found immense joy in simple pleasures, often spending his time caring meticulously for his lawn, gardens and property. He was also an avid reader, with a particular fondness for science fiction and fantasy books, and attended many Renaissance Faires with Janice, which allowed him to explore new worlds and ideas.

His personal life revolved around the love he shared with his wife of nearly 40 years, Janice C. (Frank) Ruggerio. In addition, Charles took great pride in his family, cherishing moments spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Christopher Correa of Palmer Township, Pennsylvania; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rachel Cozze of Kintnersville, Pennsylvania; his granddaughter, Mikayla LaBelle; his grandson, Shaun LaBelle; his granddaughter, Jordan Correa; his grandson, Chase Cozze; and his great-granddaughter, Arya LaBelle. He is also survived by his brother, Christopher T. Ruggerio of Geneva, Switzerland, along with one aunt and several nieces, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Ruggerio and Teresa (Brusca) Ruggerio, who fostered his early interests and values.

Charles Thomas Ruggerio will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his musical talents, and his dedication to both his career and personal passions. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
