In Loving Memory of Helen Jean Childers-Sauceman
1948 – 2025

Helen Jean Childers-Sauceman, 77, of Sherman, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at Texoma Medical Center.

Helen was retired from Texas Instruments, where she worked faithfully for many years, but her greatest joy was found at home - the place where her heart was most at peace.

Helen loved her family deeply and showed that love through her kind spirit, her giving heart and especially through her cooking. Her famous Christmas candies will always be remembered as a sweet reflection of the warmth and care she poured into everything she did.

She had a soft spot for her fur babies, a lifelong loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys, and could always be counted on to have a cold Coke nearby. Helen had a smile that could light up any room and a gentle soul that touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Buford Sauceman; children Bryant Herndon (Shelly), Hollie Harbin (Larry), Ronald Sauceman (Vonda), and Krista Anthony (Cale); grandchildren Dalton Herndon (Rainee), Tanner Herndon (Madalyne), Hallie Herndon, Baley Ball (Ryan), Landon Chapman (Taylor), Katlyn Rank (Tyler), Tanner Sauceman (Hanna), Reid Sauceman, Kasie Miller (Chance), and Kylie Shaffer (Case); and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Billy Childers and sister Joann Richardson.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents Henry Childers and Imogene Childers-Byrd, and her sister Vicki Henderson.

Per Helen's wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. The family will gather privately to celebrate her life and the peace she now has in Heaven. They would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers and kindness, which have been such a comfort during this time.

Helen will be remembered for her unwavering love, her kindness to all, and the light she brought to every heart she touched.
