Helen (nee Stroder) Uzzle of DeSoto, Missouri, was born October 10, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry and Della (nee Klodt) Stroder and entered into rest Saturday, May 18, 2024 in DeSoto, Missouri at the age of 88 years.
She is loved by: husband, Rex Uzzle; daughter, Rexanne Davis; grandchildren, Lauren Davis and Taylor Davis; nephew, Thom Uzzle; 8 siblings; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
Married to her beloved Rex for nearly 70 years, Helen was a woman of remarkable dedication and spirit. She retired as a Donut Fryer with Schnucks bakery on February 1, 2001, but before that she enjoyed servicing customers at the Tea Room in the Famous-Barr Southtown store and at Woolworths on Cherokee Street. Always bringing warmth and cheer to those she served.
Together, she and Rex enjoyed many adventures, often traveling to New York in see their grandchildren and creating cherished memories. She also found joy and camaraderie as a bowler on her bowling team called "The Pansies" at Western Bowl in South St. Louis. Her legacy of hard work, love, and enthusiasm for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial visitation and service will be held at a later date.
