Helen Ruth Warner, age 95, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Monday, April 7, 2025. Helen was born in Muskegon to Frank and Margaret (Specht) Hintz on January 28, 1930. She attended Maple Ridge School, a one-room schoolhouse, and then went on to graduate from North Muskegon High School in 1947. She was a proud U.S. Marine, serving at the Pentagon during the Korean War. She loved watching Detroit Tigers Baseball and going for a walk or a drive. Her faith was very important to her; she was a longtime member at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for many years, but more recently attended Trinity Lutheran Church. Helen was extremely strong-willed and liked to have things done her way. She was a fairly private person, but she did enjoy spending time with her family.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Lee (Brenda) Warner and Karl Warner; two grandchildren: Ashley Warner and Christopher (Madelyn) Warner; and one great-grandson, Lincoln Warner. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Richard Warner.
Per Helen's request, no public services are being held at this time. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the Poppen House of Harbor Hospice for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Harbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444.
