Helmut Bauer

Helmut Bauer, age 86 of Morganfield, KY passed away Tuesday, Dec 23, 2025. He was born in Dorum, West Germany in 1939 to Wilhelm and Matilda Bauer. He came to the United States in 1957 and became a US citizen in 1963. He was an industrial mechanic for General Electric and Big Rivers Electric. He enjoyed fund raising for March of Dimes and helped establish St. Anthony's Hospice in Webster County, KY. He was a Deacon at Northside Baptist Church and was a member at Countryside Baptist Church. He spent time volunteering as a fireman, a coach, and in the Scouts. He was a US Army enlistee in 1961. He was loved and will be missed.

Memorial service will be Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY.
Visitation will be 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY
