Henry Bussman passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, September 22, 2025.

He was born on August 29, 1942, in Indiana, the son of Bernhard and Elizabeth Bussman.

Mr. Bussman lived a full and meaningful life. As a young man, he played football in high school and enjoyed woodworking, skydiving, water skiing, and hunting. In retirement, he devoted much of his time to bass fishing and actively participated in numerous tournaments.

At the age of 18, Mr. Bussman began his career with Chrysler. In his 50s, he transferred to Alabama, where he continued his work with the company. This move also allowed him to return to his love of woodworking, particularly cabinet making. Following his retirement, he remained engaged in the community, finding fulfillment in delivering school lunches when he was not pursuing his passion for fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Tony, and his devoted wife of 49 years, Bessie.

He is survived by: His sister, Mary, His son, Henry, Three granddaughters: Harmony, Brooke, and Rachael, One grandson: Maxwell, One great-grandson: Christian, Two great-granddaughters: Skylar and Keegan.

A graveside service and remembrance gathering will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at: Midway Memorial Gardens - 3740 County Road 434 - Moulton, Alabama 35650.
