Henry "Ricky" Davila, 70, passed away peacefully at home in Katy, Texas, on May 19, 2025.
Born on August 29, 1954, in Sealy, Texas, Ricky was a man who cherished life's simple pleasures. He had a deep love for wrestling, football, western movies, fishing, and scratch-off tickets-but nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Andrea Davila; his siblings Rafael, Teddy, Rosalio, Dolores, and Sara; and his beloved son, Paul Davila.
He is survived by his children: son Christopher Davila and wife Andrea of Houston, TX; daughter Jennifer Davila and husband Raymond of Brookshire, TX; and daughter Judy Vargas and husband Juan of Katy, TX. Ricky also leaves behind a legacy of love through his 8 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson. He is also survived by his devoted sisters Sophie, Ester, Louisa, Anita and Margaret and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
A visitation and memorial service will be held on May 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Knesek Funeral Home, 768 Fourth Street, Sealy, TX 77474. Followed by a gathering of family and friends for food and drinks at the Pattison Fire Department, 2950 FM359, Pattison, TX 77423. All who knew and loved Ricky are welcome to join us as we celebrate his life.
Ricky will be remembered for his sense of humor, his big heart, and the joy he brought to those around him.
