Henry worked for Orson E Coe car dealership in Ionia. He was an active member and Deacon at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church as well as a Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and reading western novels by Louis L'Amour and Zane Grey. His favorite book was the Bible, reading it front to back several times.
Surviving Henry is his wife Donna Grill of Ionia; sons Daniel John Grill and David Henry Grill both of Ionia. 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda Wieczorek; sisters, Avis Apps, Lois Cremans and Dorothy Dolley and brother, Martin Grill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 25th 11:00 AM at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor David Pahlman officiating. Interment Tuttle Cemetery. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
