HENRY ALLEN MCKINNEY

Henry Allen McKinney, age 74, of Winchester, TN., departed this life on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Highpoint Health in Winchester. Mr. McKinney was born on October 24, 1950, in Winchester, to the late John and Fannie Jane Sims McKinney. Mr. McKinney was a very hardworking man. He worked from the time he was in the 6th grade. He worked as the manager of the maintenance department at the Hat Factory for many years. Mr. McKinney dedicated his whole life to taking care of his family. and was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed watching western shows, listening to country music, dancing, attending VFW functions, working on cars and tending to his animals on his farm. He also attended the Decherd Christian Center Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifetime friend, Ruth Thompson McKinney; daughters, Tina Marie McKinney and Kimberly Dawn McKinney and seven brothers and sisters,

He is survived by daughters, Sherry Sims (Ricky) of Belvidere and Dora McKinney of McMinnville; sisters, Sallie Bradford of Winchester and Lillie Reed (James) of Cowan; brother, Walt McKinney (Lisa) of Manchester; grandchildren, Alan Hendon (Amy), Matthew Hayworth, Cherish McKinney (Billy), Acacia Tate (Tyler Payne), Allyiah Tate, Tyler Hendon (Kelly), Issaiah Tate and Malachi McKinney; great grandchildren, Ariyah Hayworth, Ziyanna Hayworth and Billy Wayne McKinley Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 1 PM at the Decherd Christian Center, 212 3rd St, Decherd, TN 37324 with burial to follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 AM until the service time.
