LOUISE EVA TROY, age 99, of Winchester, TN., departed this life on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Franklin Manor (Viva) of Winchester. Mrs. Troy was born on January 24, 1926 in Brownsville, PA., to the late William Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Pastorious Lerner. She was employed as the Executive Housekeeper at Pontiac General Hospital. She was a member of Cowan Fellowship United Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing, birdwatching, traveling and camping. She also enjoyed reading, working puzzles and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse Norman Walter Troy and siblings, Gertrude, Evelyn, Frank, William, Margaret, Edward, Betty Jane and Jaqueline.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Norman Troy and his wife, Connie; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Troy Council and her husband, Raymond; grandchildren, Jeff Troy (Stacey), Michelle Troy Dasher (Michael), Troy Council (Stephanie) and Mark Council and great grandchildren, Katlyn Council Stout (Will), Camron Troy, Kylie Dasher, Lainie Troy and Troy Dasher.

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11 AM at the Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Franklin Manor in Winchester for the loving care Mrs. Troy received in the last three years.
