POULTNEY-Henry "Rick" Piccolo, 90, of Poultney died Tuesday November 12, 2024, at his residence in Poultney.
He was born on March 30, 1934 in Schenectady, NY, the son of Victor and Helen ( Gallo) Piccolo.
Rick grew up in Schenectady where he graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and Georgetown University.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army servicing during the Korean War prior to his honorable discharge.
Mr. Piccolo met Marita Ruby while skiing at Mount Snow and they were married on October 15, 1960.
He was employed for many years in Hospital Administration with Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Chester, PA and The Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. Then he established Foresight America, a preconception care clinic in Quakertown, PA that he operated for 10 years prior to his retirement. This was very special to him as he was able to help families conceive children.
Rick always enjoyed spending time in Poultney, relocating there permanently in 1999.
He was a member of St. Raphael's Church in Poultney
In retirement Rick enjoyed reading medical journals, antiquing and spending time with his grandsons.
Survivors include his wife Marita, a daughter Carey Regensburger (Roy) of Perkasie, PA, a son Christian Piccolo of Poultney, 2 grandchildren R.J. and Tyler, a sister Marsha Piccolo.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday November 30, 2024, at St. Raphael's Church in Poultney
Arrangements are with the Durfee Funeral Home in Fair Haven.
