Henry C. Rohrmann, 94, of Ellwood City, formerly of Darlington, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Darlington on November 29, 1930, to the late Edward R. and Cynthia Rager Rohrmann. Henry is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Lela, his two sons, Richard (DeeDee) Rohrmann of Enon Valley, PA and Leon (Kim) Rohrmann of West Mayfield, PA, a daughter, Beth (Joe Fernandez) Rohrmann of Ellwood City, PA, twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, George (Pauline) Rohrmann of Largo, FL, a sister-in-law, Beverly Rohrmann and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Campbell and a brother, Edward Rohrmann, Jr. Henry was very talented mechanically and shared this by helping others. He was employed as an equipment operator in a coal mine in Tennessee, owned his own service station in Darlington, and was an owner-operator long distance truck driver. After retirement, he enjoyed helping on Pflugh's farm. He served in the US Army and was a fifty-three-year member of the Meridian Lodge 411 of Enon Valley and New Castle Consistory. His faith was important to him, as Henry was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church, 201 Chapel Drive, Ellwood City. A Memorial Service will follow the Masonic Service and the Veteran's Honor Guard at 4:30 PM on Saturday. Memorial contributions can be made to Providence Baptist Church at the address above or Cannelton Baptist Church, 313 Ridge Rd., Darlington, PA 16115.
Henry's family would like to thank Gateway Hospice, especially Amber, for their excellent care.
